From public utility stations to Navy bases, airports and shopping malls — explore some of the projects where Mecatel's electrical solutions are in operation.
Located in the Santa Luíza neighborhood, the station (officially named Dr. Antônio Ferreira da Silva Pinto) pumps up to 33,000 liters of water per second through seven pumps, serving 17 neighborhoods in Greater Maruípe. It is considered one of the largest stormwater pumping stations in Brazil, operating around the clock. Mecatel supplied the electrical panels and switchboards that control and keep the system running continuously.
Built on Morro do Barro Vermelho, Petrobras' headquarters in Espírito Santo emerged from a national architecture competition and was inaugurated in 2012, becoming one of the most recognized corporate buildings in the state capital. Mecatel took part in supplying modular electrical solutions for the building.
A construction, maintenance and operations base for Brazilian Navy submarines in Sepetiba Bay, the Itaguaí Naval Complex is the center of the Submarine Development Program (PROSUB). Its facilities include piers, electrical substations and the Ilha da Madeira Naval Base. Mecatel took part in supplying electrical solutions for the complex.
One of the busiest terminals in the country, Brasília International Airport went through successive renovations and expansions since 1990, including the opening of Terminal 2 in 2010. Mecatel supplied electrical panels for the airport infrastructure's operation.
Beyond the featured projects, Mecatel has delivered electrical solutions for stations and operations of companies such as EDP, Samarco, Vale, ArcelorMittal and other major national players.
